During pregame Saturday, USA's band will be joining us (SOTS) on the field for a short period of time. Both bands will be playing USA's Alma Mater in memory of USA's president Gordon Moulton (Moulton passed away last week). Chancellor Hawkins was very good friends with this man and requested that the Trojans pay their respects with a collaboration of the SOTS and the USAMB.
I know this is an in-state "rivalry," but I'm proud to be a Trojan with class and respect for ALL schools! I'm honored to do this for USA.

I have chills just thinking about this. Wish I could be there to see it. I love to see good sportsmanship between schools, teams, bands, etc....

One more thing. As much as I do not pull for Florida State, one thing I like is that their band plays the opposing school's fight song during pre-game. I think that is very classy.
