    Default FSU QB Jameis Winston

Went 17-18 in the first half against Pitt and the incompletion was caught along the sidelines and ruled out of bounds. Everyone needs to put some voodoo magic on him and/or the FSU receivers or Corey's record-breaking performance from Saturday might not last more than two days...

Going into the 4Qtr, they say he is 20 - 22, did have another incompletion but called a penalty. He is one fine QB, and he is from Hueytown, AL. Corey had one fantastic game, made us all proud!

    Go TROY!

Remember, the record is based on 30 completions, so Winston can either not complete 10 more passes, or seeing as how FSU is shellacking Pitt, they may go completely to a run game to eat clock.

He's 24-26 at the moment, but FSU just went up 41-13 with about 8 minutes left, so he may not throw another pass (or play another snap for that matter).

Final stats for Winston: 25-27, 92.6%, did not have 30 attempts

Of course you all know Corey was 30-32, 93.8%, record still belongs to him!

Both players only had one ball hit the ground all night as each had an incompletion that was caught but ruled out of bounds on the sideline. Awesome performance by both guys, but I'm just glad Corey still holds the record and the words, "QB, Troy" are beside his name.

Great night for FSU, and was really happy to see our (FSU) new quarterback have such an impressive first game. Definitely was a lot better than I expected. Just hope it continues in the coming weeks. No voodoo magic please!

And, of course, I'm still happy about the efficient game CR had this past weekend.

Good weekend for both of the schools of which I am a proud alumnus.

    Everything Else

“I quit worrying about Auburn and Alabama. They’re cowards and you can print that,” he said. “Troy people would love to play them, but they’re chicken. I’m not talking about the (Alabama or Auburn) coaches and the players. I’m talking about the ones who wear the panties who make decisions.” --LB by way of the SavannahNow.com

Agree now that the record is settled. However, I'm not a moderator.
