Default Sunbelts 3 teams on list

Idaho, New Mexico State and Georgia Southern are on the Sun Belt's list of schools to replace Middle Tennessee State and Florida Atlantic, CBSSports.com has learned.

Can't wait to make the trip to Idaho
    New Mexico State - really?

    Georgia Southern - yes

Let's go get some Conference USA teams. Houston, SMU, Southern Miss

Bring those three to go with ULM, ULL, Troy, Arky State, GA Southern???, Georgia State, South Alabama

10 teams from East coast of Georgia to Houston, TX - perfect

Now that Middle is gone, Troy should get with them and play a game each year in Memphis, Birmingham or some other neutral site.

    It would be fun!

Just when we were getting comfortable with The Sun Belt getting stronger and moving UP among the conferences, C-USA comes a calling!

IF our Commissioner would concentrate on WHAT HE IS SAYING, "re-branding Sun Belt" AND "geographical footprint" and be pro-active, think of the possibilities. Basically, do unto C-USA what they have done to us, go get some of their teams that are probably wondering what is happening to their conference

GREAT opportunity to re-brand and shrink the footprint (a little):

    Texas State
    Arkansas State
    Louisiana Tech
    Louisiana Lafayette
    Louisiana Monroe
    Southern Mississippi
    Troy
    South Alabama
    Memphis
    Georgia State
    Georgia Southern
    Appalachian State

DARN, I woke up from that dream when I realized that C-USA HAS an exit fee, something the silly Sun Belt has NOT bothered to implement in recent years despite previous defections

    Get with who?
