    Default About Georgia Southern

Located just an hour from historic Savannah, Hilton Head
Island and the Atlantic coast, Georgia Southern’s nearly
700-acre campus is nestled in the classic Main Street
community of Statesboro. The city’s host county of Bulloch
continues to grow along with the University and is home to
    more than 69,000 residents.
Georgia Southern’s traditional residential campus includes
three original 100-year-old red brick and white columned
buildings anchoring a “historic district” that transitions into
contemporary academic and residential buildings - many of
which were completed or begun during the past decade’s nearly
$300 million in construction and renovation projects.

Ahhhh, no. They had their chance and would rather compete with Wofford and Elon for minor-league prowess. Besides, Statesboro is more isolated than Troy.
"Number 6"? I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that one...

If we had to pick from FBS, Ga Sou and App State are the top 2 hands down.

good point. GA State has been a lot more aggressive for only having football 2 years.

    Default Georgia Southern Update

Georgia Southern Eagles are soaring again as they defeat Old Dominion in the FCS Quarterfinal, a school which is headed to Conference USA. They will go on to face North Dakota State. This in a rematch of last year's FCS semifinal.
