"Middle Tennessee head coach Rick Stockstill was determined to find a fourth quarterback to add more depth to the all important position."

Sounds more like a Franklin deal to me.

I do believe that Franklin found the kid, but Stockstill wanted a JUCO QB all along. There's not a whole lot of confidence in what we have a QB right now.

Make NO MISTAKE, this kid is a Franklin kid and WILL BE The starter at MTSU next year. Everyone on this board knows how TF works, this is MTSUs Omar. I can just hear TF now, "you want to lead the nation in passing? You want to throw more passes than any other quarterback in the coutry? You need to be in Murfreesboro, TN come August, period!"

I promise you that. I don't care what Stockstill says, don't care what is reported, don't care, this is TFs way of doing things. HE KNOWS he has to have a quality QB to run his offense, FROM JUMP, or there is no chance he/they will be successful (see Auburn 2008). Tubberville's handcuffs were the reason TF was forced into the qbs he had to work with at Auburn. Oh sure, he got the transfer from Troy, but the kid was way to young and wasn't ready. With the turmoil that followed, coaches back-biting each other, trickeling down to the team, where a lack of confidence grew from the first practice. Assistant coaches crying like little boys to TT that 'they weren't getting their way and Coach Franklin doesn't like me and on and on, was the beginning of the end.

With this play coming so early in the Spring, you can bet TF has found another diamond in the rough and has had his eye on the kid for a while. Probably had him at one of his camps or the coaches or whatever.

"Of course there will always be competition," Rosenvall said. "(MT's coaches) told me what the quarterback situation was and what they saw on my film is what they were looking for. Just let the competition begin ... and they want me to do my best to beat the guys that are there. That's what it's all about."
i wonder if they told the other QB's the same, or if they are playing favortism.

TF and the MUTS can have whatever Omarish QB they want.

They still suck and were still going to beat them.

    haha

    That is awesome.

This guy may be good but (now my impersonation of what MTSU said about omar) he will probably flunk out because he is a JUCO player.

MUTS are bound to fail, all of those JUCO kids and everyone knows that they do underhanded deals. They are building a house of cards that the ncaa will collapse down on them.........sound familiar. Even with the Omar want to be we beat the hell out of them for a trifecta.
