Is it just me or did anyone else miss that the 2009 season is posted, in the Spring Prospectus? We open in Ohio, Bowling Green, Ohio against Ball State, on September 3, then on September 12 we are in Gainesville, Fl, then first home game is against UAB on Sept 19th! THEN we go to Fayetteville, Ark in LATE NOVEMBER - HUH! November 14th, then home for Middle on 11/21 then to Lafayette on 11/28. WE also travel to Jonesboro, Bowling Green, KY, and Miami, FL (FIU).

Pretty good schedule, 2 "Money Games", with two other D-1 BCS schools, no FCS (1-AA) schools, which is what most on this board have been moaning about. The problem is, 3 of them are on the road, and, yes sir, we only have 5 home games.

I say see what the Ark buyout is, pay for it, and schedule a 1-AA for a home game and let's go 6 and 6. I can see it now, when USA becomes a full-time football school in the Belt (2011?) we will have one season with 6 home games and next will be 5 and back and forth. Probably won't change until re-alignment, but let's not start that thread, it is to exhausting, and we can't change it!!

Is it football season YET?

I rather make the trip to Arky than play another boring 1-AA school at home!

Especially in 09. I can somewhat understand needing a break in 08 looking at the first six games. One at home and five tough road games. I am fairly happy with the 09 schedule. In all honesty I think Bowling Green has more name recognition than any of our sunbelt conference opponents.

Probably the same thing Arkansas fans are saying about this game....

I actually believe that they are beatable without Jones/McFadden. Not to say they weren't beatable with them on the team, but Heisman hopefuls they were...

I think their new coach will be very beatable.
