Nice try, but LB has already said on Max Howell and Phil Paramore this morning that the hire will come from within.

What does that mean? I just suggested a coach to look at and thats it. Not a try, just a comment.
As for your comments, nice try...were on to you, but nice try though...

UNI is a program that could easily make the move to D-I. There is 2 BCS teams in Iowa, but I bet UNI could take out either of them in one of their good years.

I am bumping this thread back to the top.

I am torn between Shayne and Neal both have some great potential to consider. I think Shayne's HC experience will win out but I still have to wonder about Neal's experience in this system as a player and a coach.

I think the offensive assistant that comes in will be a QB coach.

I stated on another thread that I think Omar could be a good QB coach, just because of his desire and knowledge of the spread he gained from TF...aside from his throwin' motion, which was effective, but a little different...I also agree about Wasden, because of his experience...

Lets keep Omar around and just throw him in a number 11 jersey with Jones on the back of it.

I heard something that as i thought about it made a lot of sense. Gary Banks as a receivers coach. as i thought about that it was such a great move for both parties. who knows how to play receiver in this offense better than Banks? No one. also, Gary has 2 kids and a wife. Not knocking him, but I don't see Gary going high in the draft. Don't know if he'd be a starter. However, I do see him having a very promising career as a coach. Personally, I'd love to see Gary come back as a receivers coach and help us win another SBC title, what do you guys think?

I think both of your nice tries were equally well done!

Banks only has 1 daughter. I do agree he would be a great addition.

CO-O Coordinator is still a possibility in order to raise pay of staff in order to possibly retain someone longer.

All four are great coaches and all things offensively starts up front!
