QB situation

I was one who tried to listen to last Satuday's game on the internet--I gave up.

So, therefore, how did Leak and DT play? When I was listening, I thought I heard that DT was put in at one point. It looks to me like S.Carolina is a team that is better on defense. This could be looking to be a defensive battle, which as far as I am concerned, that's good news.

SOTS will be there, and I think I heard someone mention that all 1000 of Troy's tickets have been sold. Man I wish I could go to this game.

DT looked better than in his first outing. I think he was 1 for 3 in passing with one clearly dropped pass. He led a late drive that resulted in an 18-15 Troy lead (FG). It showed that the coaching staff believes in him that he was allowed to lead the offense late in the game when Troy was losing.

Than the defense let us down with that awful, time-consuming final TD drive for NMSU.

I did not notice whether DT ran at all (perhaps once or twice on an option?). I was hoping to see him scramble and break a few long jaunts.

I believe Leak came in for the last drive, in which Cray (might be wrong) grabbed a pass ad ran to the (NMSU?) 42 before allowing the ball to be stripped and Troy's chances for a win to go down the drain.

Leak's stats were actually decent (200-plus yards passing?). But overall, he appeared to be much like his 2003 version - inconsistent from game to game. I seems no quarterback has yet stepped up to take charge of the position and that is hurting the Troy offense.

We need some consistency in the QB position, something we have not had in a while. leak I belive can do that, he just needs too stay focused more.

I agree, we need some consistency at QB. If Leak is the man, let him play and gain some confidence, that is the only way he will get better. If he feels he has to look over his shoulder all the time, it could be a long year. Let him run the team, or just go ahead and turn it over to DT.
