The students at troy aren't that into the football team, I hate to say. Must just show up, wave their fraternity's flag, and then leave at the second half. It must be very disheartening to the team to see that. Anyway, I'm guessing (because it isn't going to be on national tv, and we're picked to win) that we'll be lucky to push 20,000. Remember, it's band day too, so a lot of high schoolers will be in the stands for free.

Hell...I'll be there...I'm a student...I'll be there the whole game...even getting friends from Dothan to come up for the day, they're buying gen admission tickets and sitting in the student section with me...should be fun. I'm glad when the frats leave at halftime...they're a waste of space...most dont even watch the game.

Fraternities are the main reason if not the only reason the student section is filled. We make tailgating a lot more fun with a band which we pay for through our ifc dues. So watch it when you say your glad when we leave your just mad because we get all the good seats and have a blast. There is about 500 frat boys on campus and they bring a date or have the sorities come with us, so we number over 1000 students in the greek population who are at the game. Yea take us out of there and see how much fun the student section is with a bunch of nerds. Yea alot of us went to the Marshall and South Carolina game this year so I think we support troy better than someone who used to call himself bama engineer go to bama who needs you anyway. And no frat flags are waved at the game we banned them so get your facts straight.

Until I see the day where you fratties stay at the game CONSISTANTLY not just big ones, then I will belive you. As far as I can tell its not even the whole frat, you MAKE your pledges go and when they are there they sit on their ass unless its a game vs. Mizzou. If you say otherwise you are only fooling yourself.
Also, why go to the game as a frat? That has pissed me off since the day I got on campus at Troy. Go as a Trojan fan not as a member of Pi Kapp or whatever.

Where in the hell where they when we made the NCAA tourny a couple of years ago..There were maybe hershey squirts of you at the game. Pathetic..then you were too worried about why Alablow and Ausuck didnt make the tournament period. Stop waving your goofy flag and actually stay at the game. Hell I dont see schools like Notre Dame and LA Tech doing that kinda bull crap. PS try to stay sober during the game so you actually think its a Troy game and not a Alabumer game.

I was in a fraternity when I was at Troy (SAE) and we supported athletics better than any other Greek organization. At the same time, there were huge masses GDI's who never set foot in the football stadium, basketball arena, etc.

Ultimately, who gives a damn whether someone is in a fraternity or not? I say go support your school and quit worrying about who's waving what kind of flag at a sporting event as long as they're at the game yelling something.

I expect around the 20,000 range. Remember, the bands count in the attendance numbers. It's not paid attendance anymore--it's fannies in the seats.

Also, from what I understand, the SGA has made it against the rules to wave a flag in the stadium unless it's simply a troy trojans flag.

We may be NERDS as you say it but we sure as hell support our team. Did I see you at Iowa State? Hell half the pep band was there and we didnt even have to go there!!! What about the time where we saw fans watching a stupid Alabama game in our parking lot?!!? who cares? you want to watch that crap..go to the sports bar and root on crap teams sir. But that was 2 years ago..I hope that crap has changed. as always...
