10 Weekend Visits

Troy is entertaining 10 recruits this weekend for a campus visit. There are five that have already committed to play for the Trojans, and five who are still making up their minds.

The previous commitments include running back Stanley Jones of Houston Academy in Dothan; Jerrel Jernigan, a running back from Eufaula High; Rickey McGhee, a running back from Lincoln High in Tallahassee, Fla.; running back Xavier Lamb, also from Tallahassee-Lincoln; and Lennie Richardson, a linebacker from Turner County High in Ashburn, Ga.

The non-commited players are Donnell Golden, a linebacker from Brooks County High School in Quitman, Ga.; Micah Grimes, an offensive lineman from Fort Meade, Fla.; Jake Johnson, an offensive lineman from Blinn Junior College in Texas; Tray Herndon, a wide receiver out of The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Fla.; and Rashad Roussel, from Jones County (Miss.) Junior College. Roussel is originally from New Orleans.

On another note:
visitor Rashad Roussell originally committed to West Virginia two years ago. He was a four star prospect on scout.com before being downgraded to 3 stars. I do not think that he had the grades and ACT score out of high school to go to West Virginia. Two years later he is considering Troy.
