Sumter County (York, Ala.) defensive end prospect Cordarro Law may not be a household name in football recruiting circles, but the 6-foot-3, 230-pounder is a sleeper with huge potential. Law was named 1st Team All-State last year as a power forward.
Recently Law picked up his first offer and is beginning to hear from additional programs. Southern Miss became the first I-A program to offer Law a football scholarship, and he's seeing Louisville, Troy and UCF beginning to show more interest.
"Yeah, Southern Miss offered me," Law said of his recruitment. "I'm going down there to visit this weekend."
With an offer in hand Law seems to be in no big hurry to make a decision.
"I'm not sure when I'll commit," he said. "I may wait until signing day."
Law is being recruited by Southern Miss linebacker coach Fred Tate.
