After reviewing the play-by-play of the St. Louis loss, our three missed layups in the final five minutes jumped out at me. And while we were bricking bunnies, the Billikens managed to hit 3 straight layups to turn a one-point advantage to a 55-48 spread. Since I didn't hear or see the game, can anyone who was there explain how we missed 3 layups and they hit theirs?
We also lost three turnovers in the final minutes, which was uncharacterisitic of us since we only had 10 for the entire game.
I'm certain our coaches will work these problems out, but maybe the biggest challenge we'll face all year is our lack of rebounding. So far, we're getting shellacked on the boards. Hopefully, Jarvis Acker will alleviate some of the rebounding problems once he returns.
