Obviously there is some margin of error but it is encouraging that the average stars of recruits has increased each of the last 3 recruiting classes. Not everything is accurate with the star rating system used by different recruititng sites as players can increase or decrease stars based the level of competition they play against in high school. I have also always wondered if the stars are increased or decreased based on which school a player makes commitment. So far this year we have six 2-Star recruit commits and if the past predicts the future this should be another improvement in average stars for this recruiting class.
