I know this is probably not a possibility but is it possible Blakeney takes the AD job and we make an aggresive campaign to get Zook. Everyone is saying he "has" to go to the NFL until he comes back to College, but just what if.

I honestly do not think he is a left over, he has not had a bad year per se. Look at Mike Price at UTEP - he has climbed into the top 25 with the BCS.

Ehhh...you have a point, but I still have absolutely no respect for Mike Price, he got what he deserved...

As far as Zook, I couldn't see Troy hiring someone like him, but who knows? Could we afford him?

First, Blakeney doesn't want the job. But when LB does leave, I wouldn't want Zook. I want someone young, up and coming. A star in the making. Not a has been or in Zook's case, a never has been.

Zook got zooked at UF, but bottom line, he is in way over his head as a head coach--just like Mike Dubose was at Tuscaloser.

I say when Blakeney leaves (let's hope it's not for a long while) we get a young, aggressive guy.

Luverne already had a good program, as did U of Alabama when he got there. I'll go ahead and say it, the only reason UA won the SEC in 1999 is Shaun Alexander...and look what he's doing in the NFL now! Dubose is a joke, always was, always will be!
