Sleeper linebacker Millage Peaks (6-2, 215, 4.63) from Culver City, Calif., is making up for lost time. Since he sent out his highlight tape this past December according to Culver City quarterback coach Greg Goodyear, Peaks has been able to set up three visits starting his coming weekend (Jan. 6th).

Peaks will trip Temple this weekend (Jan. 6th), Indiana on January 13th and Troy University on January 20th.

According Goodyear there could be more opportunities coming Peaks way.

"After viewing the tape, Nebraska called back and said they like Millage, and they will recruit him after the dead period," Goodyear said. "Kevin Cosgrove said that Nebraska could be done recruiting linebackers, but they may be interested in a greyshirt."

"Washington and Kansas State have recently begun to show some interest," Goodyear said. "They join Kentucky, Kansas, Washington State, Ohio, Central Michigan, UConn and Boise State as schools that are interested."

"It looks like Indiana is going to offer," Goodyear said. "They want to see him in person first."

Peaks led Culver City in tackles with 125 and because Culver City has sent out senior game footage, D-I colleges have begun to take notice.

The reason that Peaks has flown under the radar is because he was hard to track. Peaks played at three different high schools during his career.

In an earlier interview with Rivals.com, Goodyear had the following to say about Peaks.

"Millage has a great nose for the football," Goodyear said. "He has good speed, he's athletic and loves to hit."

"Millage runs very well," Goodyear said. "His speed makes him very good in pass coverage."

"The speed he has is natural," Goodyear said. "As fast as Millage is he wants to get faster, that's why he's going to run track this spring."
