Troy Offense vs conference:

2011: 23 ppg
2012: 26 ppg
2013: 36 ppg

A shining moment in another down year. The guys on "O" need a pat on the back. The Troy Offense was 1st in the SBC, and it wasn't even close. Four SBC teams hovered around 31 ppg taking the 2-6 spots. The O-Line ranked 3rd in sacks allowed and 4th in tackles for loss allowed. Not bad for such a young group with a new coach.

Troy Defense vs conference:

2007: 15 ppg (1st in conf.)
2008: 17 ppg (1st in conf.)
2009: 23 ppg (2nd in conf.)
2010: 25 ppg (2nd in conf.)
2011: 32 ppg (7th out of 9 in conf.)
2012: 28 ppg (6th out of 10 in conf.)
2013: 35 ppg (7th out of 8 in conf; 1/2 point away from last, Georgia State)

This year will tell us a lot about Wayne Bolt. Hopefully the 7 ppg drop off is just growing pains.

While the offense improved, it seemed as if it made more costly turnovers than in the past (resulting in points for the other team). I wonder how points allowed would look if points off turnovers weren't counted.

More turnovers??? Were u not watching last year? We lost to Mtsu to fall 5-7 due to a turnover!

This year wasn't as bad in turnovers.
