According to Blakeney on the radio today. Darn thing is just so tough. Besides at 6-6 it's like the season never happened, fresh slate.

Now we can all return to celebrating our undeserved bowl game.

Do we know we're getting one? I'm always happy to celebrate a win, regardless.

Seems to be the consensus on here. We certainly don't deserve one, but these things are less based on merit these days.

Whether we get a bowl game is yet to be determined. You may not deserve a bowl game, but if we make it then our players have earned it.

We won't think any less of you if you're not there.

Troy played pretty well today . There were a few defensive lapses , but we looked as good as I have seen them this year. I would doubt there were 10k there, but I'm glad I was one of them. ESPN had us playing Rutgers in B'ham last time I checked.

Geeze brian, can't we just enjoy a dominating win over a Conference foe for a day before all this crap gets going?

There was no way we had that many, but it was better than I was expecting though.

We probably talked about this, but why were we scheduled on Friday if it wasnt on TV? I watched the espn3, but most of our non-weekend games were televised. Regardless, our team looked great and I am very proud of the hard work this season.

We looked good offensively, defensively we got some breaks. Their QB couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat and their receivers have stone hands. We stink at stopping the option that is evident. But we are 6-6 and possibly get a bowl so that is the good news.

Wait....there are other schools that play football in Alabama besides Troy, USA and UAB :confused013: I was not aware of this. I thought Roll Tide was an ad campaign for detergent and War Eagle had to do with Ft. Rucker. Now I know.

I thought it was OUR Bowl everyone was talking about today. That is why I posted the information for reserving tickets for a TROY Bowl on social media.

I will say we played a tougher schedule than a lot of the Sun Belt schools including Texas St. Troy looked slightly improved this year from last overall. My main concern now is the recruiting.
