Ok everyone, I just graduated on May 10th, have my first free year of National Association and was wondering where all of the different chapters are and what I should do (easy on money right now, I don't have a job yet :jester:)

To paraphrase the "Mouth of the South", Paul McNeeley- Pay your dang alumni association dues!

I'm not sure right now, it depends on wherever I get a job. I'm currently in Escambia County Al but can go anywhere from here to Pike County

Join the Alumni Band. :-D

If you are vocal/choral and will be local to Troy, there is a desire to restart the Choral Alumni Association as well.

Good luck. Music teacher positions seem to open all the time. I would heavily caution you about any music job in Montgomery though.

I'm not choral and will join the alumni band as soon as I have a job. I'm trying to stay close to home for family issues, so I can't go very far north, and I'm thinking about getting dual certified as well.
