So far for the 2013 Baseball season, the Sun Belt has a 12-7 record against CUSA.

Half of CUSA's losses to the Sun Belt are USM's.

The same Southern Mississippi (7-9) that lost 2 games to Troy (11-4), is in last place in their conference, and has 6 of their 9 losses to Sun Belt teams, yet still has an RPI of 106.

Highest RPI in SBC - 14 (USA)
Highest RPI in CUSA - 45 (Houston)

Lowest RPI in SBC - 220 (WKU)
Lowest RPI in CUSA - 216 (UCF)

Average RPI in SBC - 122.6
Average RPI in CUSA - 129.2

It may take a little while longer, but the Sun Belt will overtake CUSA in all sports.

Don't we ALWAYS lose to UAB in baseball? Even in our best years.

I was going to write something along that same line, but I couldn't make myself type it out.

I get sick and tired of it... We could be 28-0 and they be 0-28 and I'd bet money we still lose... Heck JSU beat them earlier this year 7-0

As much as I like our guys, I just can't see them as a good team until they start consistently beating the UAB's of the world. Especially at home. Rip me if you will for that but frankly, I could care less. We are to UAB what MTSU was to us in football for a long time; a sure win. I think Troy's a pretty good baseball team but we're still the Blazers little brother until we prove otherwise.

If we could get them for a weekend 3 games series I bet we would take 2 of 3 or 3 of 3 just about every time.

Week night games are very finicky. Everyone throws their 4th or 5th pitchers. One team might have dominate performance by their 4th or 5th that they were never expecting, we we might have a guy throwing that can't keep it off the dirt.

Put it on a weekend series and you will see who the better team is.

Just like the NL "play-in" game last year, 1 game doesn't decide who is better over a 60 game stretch or 162 for that matter.

I understand what you're saying tenacious. But this is a trend that for the most part has developed over the past few years with UAB. When was the last time Troy had a weekend series with the Blazers and when is the next series?
