Preseason picks

The A-Sun media picked us 3rd and the coaches picked us 4th in the league. Man, I'll be glad to kiss the setting Sun goodbye after this season! I can't believe we'll have 5 new starters this year! Can anyone confirm that the big signee we had is out because of grades??? We've got several reserves returning from last year that will start and several JUCO players. I'm looking forward to the season...tsufan...are we gonna get courtside again?

Uhhhh.....yeah! :wink: I just hope they offer them again this year. I was told that tickets should go on sale next week, but we should be receiving our renewal package sooner.

As far as the preseason polls go, we all know that they are not accurate. I don't remember ever having been picked to win the league....despite winning it 3 out of the last 4 years. :lol:

Has anyone heard how the team has looked after the first 10 days of practices? Any word on a pre-season prospectus? It's almost November. We'll be playing games before you know it!!

Weren't we picked fourth or fifth the year we went to the NCAAs in Ben Fletcher's senior season?

Didn't we start practice this past Saturday? Haven't heard anything yet.

We have never been picked to win the league which is fine with me. More pressure on the favorite. I like the underdog role we play every year. :lol:
