Don't know if its been posted, but the article below states that no noise makers allowed Saturday. That's not going to go over well with the MSU fans. What do you guys think? I don't mind them at all, I think they add to the gameday atmosphere. The guys sitting next to me brings a horn... drives my wife crazy, but I love it.

There are so many responses to this statement I could post, but I would get banned.

Wonder if the 'text a problem' number will get cowbell complaints. It might if we're losing :taunt002:

I hope they throw every Bulldog fan caught with a cowbell out of the stadium. the last thing we need is the MSU fans making it tough for our offense to operate in their own house.

Can't agree, been to Starkville twice (for Troy both times), atmosphere.

I look forward to the cowbell. Something tells me we will see the return of those spirit sticks this weekend.

I'm pretty sure IMG has the thunder sticks lined up for the student section.

If we have thunder sticks and horns... cant deny the Dawgs the RIGHT to bang their cowbells. But we can deny them the REASON to bang them. GO TROJANS!

As an outsider (and at the risk of RIP to my mentions) I was really looking forward to hearing the cowbells this weekend. Boise State was forced into following the "no artificial noisemakers" policy of the Mountain West when we joined, and it pretty much sucked. There were a lot of disgruntled fans who got their cowbells, vuvuzelas, thunder sticks, etc. taken away by security.

Sidenote: The MWC is so terrible, they made a new rule when we joined that we couldn't wear blue jerseys w/ blue pants for home games. But Colorado State could still wear green pants/green unis. Wonder why we jumped ship at the first opportunity?

Wow, then all they need is their phones. Cool!

Somehow, I feel very assured that many cowbells will make it through the checkpoints. Even better to beat them, on our home turf, with their legendary cowbells in tow.

There will be cowbells in your stadium gauranteed.

That's okay, we'll have the Sound of the South, we won't hear those forsaken cowbells too long. :-D

The cowbells wouldn't bother me. :confused013:

I don't mind noise in a stadium, except for the FSU chant. :rolleyes04:

Yeah i hate we can't bring our bells. It is a great tradition, but i can understand why the opposing team would not want them. Will ring it out the truck window but it will stay in the truck at gametime. Have to respect the home teams rules.
