Tipoff set for 7:30 ~~ Live Video/Audio is available through Troy Trojans All Access

Well folks after many years in Sartain Hall, we have reached the final game ever to be played in that building. It's been a crazy journey, but it's time to move on to MUCH bigger and better things!!! How about winning one last game in Sartain huh?

All Access isn't working, but hell that's never a surprise.

Oh thank God, this day could not have gotten here soon enough. Finally we get out of that dump and in to a REAL basketball arena. Maybe now we can recruit some decent talent and win a game from time to time.

Amen to that!!

It's so freaking sad that the audio has been screwed up all year with the video through All Access. Either they have bad equipment and can't fix it (Why do we pay if they have bad equipment) or they are too lazy to fix it (Once again why do we pay)

Anyways Tipoff is under way and Justin Wright nails a three!!

I'm loving the good attendance!!! Though it was expected, it's still nice to see!!

Trojans (The good ones) lead 14-8 with 10:46 left

Emil Jones and Alan Jones are looking nice out there!!

Troy leads 29-24 at half. We are 5-1 this year when leading at the half, so we need to close this one out!!

Troy leads 35-31 with 14:22 left.

I've thought all year that losing Owens after the season would be a big loss, but really he's just not good. He has size, but he's not coordinated at all. We return a good group of guys and if we can get a good Center next year we could be pretty good.

Anyways Emil and Alan are still looking good!! Need to close this one out. Might be a close one at the end!!

Leading 45-44 with 7:01 left. UALR has never led in this game, but they are only down by 1.

Almost had a heart attack at the end!!

Going into OT tied at 56. Sartain just wants a little more basketball before it's all over haha.

What a God awful OT. The fans file out as we just played awful in OT and lose by 12. That's terrible, but we're used to it.

Another loss and we move to 8-17. Goodbye to Sartain.

Now we have two games left in the regular season. We play at FIU then we play at FAU. Would be nice to win both of those. I believe that the FIU game is really winnable. That would give us momentum going into the FAU game. Win both of those and go into the tournament with some small momentum.

What can I say? It's unfortunate that the end of the Sartain era coincides with one of the worst seasons we've had in Troy basketball. :( I wish it were different. I definitely have some great memories in that place - saw some good hardwood action there during my time in college, watched several concerts there, and of course, graduated in that place. I do hope the University keeps it around for other purposes, and doesn't stick a wrecking ball in it. It's not up to par with major college basketball standards, but it's still too nice of a facility to just waste.

Hopefully the bad luck stays in Sartain. I agree I hope they don't tear down the building. I think it may be put to good use as a student recreation area or maybe they could gut the building and put more classrooms in (which would go nicely next to Hawkins Hall).

Sartain Hall will be turned into a student recreation center.
