An extra measure of GOOD LUCK to the team members as they play their final game in Sartain Hall. Good-bye, Ole Sartain. :sad010:

and the Troy TV graphics haven't changed either...

Some of those Jax State games were just EPIC and who could forget dominating the East Coast Conference or TAAC?

And WTF was with the yellow and red pompons at the Tournament announcement? Mr. Ho must have been in charge back then

And Maestri/Felix have won a conference title in every league we have attempted to join over the last 20 years

I thought that was a great farewell video for the men's basketball team (which is well deserved), but was not a farewell for the gym itself. There were many good women's basketball teams that played in there as well. If they were going to do a true farewell video they should have included the women's team. Not only the basketball team, but the volleyball team also played in Sartain. Very disappointed in the lack of effort or respect for those teams.

That video was actually made back in 2007, as part of Coach Maestri's 25 years at Troy. It was not part of the Sartain farewell. The only Sartain farewell part was at the end with the lights going out.

Oh OK, well that makes sense. I do think they need to change the name or reference that fact or something, because it doesn't look as if that was the case. I have talked with a lot of people that didn't know that was the case that felt the same way I did.

The paper airplanes sure brought back memories. Do they still do that at the games? Whup Jax State brings back great memories to. I remember the Jax St game in 1988 or 1989 when we set the attendance record for Sartain...it was packed and noisy, it was great to have been at that game.

Maybe send the messenger an email about that, they may correct it

sartain hall brings back great memories from the early 90's. But the new arena makes for new and great memories ahead!

Sartain Hall....I'm going to miss it. I scored a few times in there and I never even played basketball!
