Leodis McKelvin's TD run

As sick as the task made me, I posted hundreds of images from the Troy-UAB game.

All of the pictures can now be viewed and the pages are formatted.

Enjoy - at least the band, cheerleaders and crowd pics!

Bob, I have a few shots of you and what I am guessing is your daughter. I have not dumped the images yet so I'm not sure how great they are. I do have some great pics of Bolt making his way back out after halftime. Did anyone else see that? He had to come out well before the team to make it to the visitors side. By the time he got there, he collapsed on the bench in front of the giant fan! He is a great man and I respect him, but if he does not do something about his health, UAB will be looking for a new DC very soon. I know, because I'm in the same boat, just not nearly as big a boat!

I'd like to see the pics - not necessarily of me. :)

That was my daughter. She has a good time and (as a college band member) really appreciated the Sound of the South's show.

Thanks, War.

Those girls were really into the game. Their image (by another shoter) was also on the front page of The Messenger on Sunday.

Thank you!I thought I was blind and dumb?

To illustrate how far the Web has come, my daughter has already found a couple of our pictures on individuals' Web sites on the Facebook.com and MySpace.com sites.

I guess these sites are popular with high school and college students.

One of the pictures, made by Daphne on Saturday night, was already on a person's personal Web site on Tuesday! That person cropped the photo, but wasn't able to remove all of the copyright information, which still shows.

Instead of ripping it off, she should have just asked me for a nicer version. :)

How did she happen to come across the pictures on these sites? Did someone contact her about them or what?

My daughter posts and has a Web page on those sites. I guess she was searching for Troy U. members following her trip to Troy last weekend.

I guess it is very popular with high school and (now) college students. They become "friends" with other posters, chat, instant message, etc.

That just sounds goofy. Who would want to post messages with people they don't know? I would never do that.

I know, but it's popular.

I was kidding.

LOL, you old farts just don't understand Facebook and MySpace 8)

I think that was a little uncalled for. They are adults mostly, and are not able to join Facebook so how could they be expected to know what it is? I didnt even have a Facebook or Myspace until the middle to end of summer. I am not a Troy student (FAU!!! GO OWLS!!) but the comments on this board by UAB people are a little uncalled for.

Facebook used to be only for college students but they just started a new site for high school students. It is a way you put a name to a face that you see in class or the halls. It also becomes a popularity contest to see how many friends you have.

MySpace is for anyone and you can customize your page, which facebook doesn't allow. But it is a mix between a journal and a website. It's a lot like facebook.

I was on Facebook searching for any of the people I met this weekend at the game or Fraternity house and would like to see again when I come up there for homecoming (Go Owls!!!). I saw a twirler with my name on the bottom of the picture and a basketball player with my Dad's copyright on it.

Thanks for all you nice comments on the pictures. I had fun shooting the game.

I think everyone missed the humor. I know what it is. I was attempting to make fun of us on GTT for posting all the time, much like the kids do on their sites. I read back through it and I'm not sure how you guys missed that. I expected the UAB people to miss it, but not our people.

I think that was a little uncalled for.

I was just joking around. Take it easy :D
