Drew just mentioned this kid as a recent commit to TROY in his blog...
Troy adds another 3-star wider receiver (http://dothaneagletroy.blogspot.com/2011/09/troy-adds-another-3-star-wr.html)

This is what I'm talking about. Four or five years in the system. This kid looks impressive, and I can tell you, he is playing against tough competition. A few of those plays was against Jacksonville Bolles who is a powerhouse. Now let's get some more high school recruits.

the kid sounds excited to be a Trojan and ready to get to work. I like that, hope he turns out to be a gem like Jerrel and Chandler Worthy. :bounce012:

This kid should play a lot next year. Played in a spread system at First Coast and he goes up for the ball and makes play. Seen him play this year and was very, very impressed. I was also impressed with Shaq Beverly in that game.

Look for him to see playing time this fall. He has a trait we needed last year and that is he goes up for the ball agressively. I am excited about having him in a Troy uniform.

Let's try to keep it recruiting...you can rag on the players and coaches on the "Everything Else" forum...:signs019:

:confused-smiley-004???? Who did I rag on? I seen Brandon Brooks play this year and just stated he goes up for the ball agressively. I am excited about seeing him at Troy. Saying that isn't ragging on players or coaches.

In quoting yourself, you left out the part about "a trait that we needed last year" like the receivers weren't good enough...were they young? yes...Were they inconsistent? yes...Even with a lackluster offense, CR still threw for 3,400 yds...again, there's enough blame to go around...With the recruiting that these coaches have been doing, the belief should be that it's possible to reestablish the Trojan tradition of winning...united we stand...divided we fall...strength in numbers...etc

???????????????????????????????????????????????

I was going to say the 300 lb DT would give us size we need, but I guess that would be negative. As another poster said " Lighten Up"

What detemines who coaches recruit? Current needs on the team.
