I emailed a man thats affiliated with the Lombardi Award as to why Demarcus was not on the list..here is why
tickets are $250 each and can be ordered through the Rotary Club of Houston office (713) 973-9936. They can take credit card information. If you want to pay by check you can make them out to The Rotary Lombardi Award and send it to 8552 Katy Freeway, Suite 156 Houston 77024
As for Demarcus, I truly don't know what happened. I had added him to the list and am at a total loss as to why he slipped off. When the Troy SID contacted me, I added him again while voting was still underway. Erasmus James was also not on the list until very late in the process, but he did garner enough support to move on.
The fact that we had players make our list of 12 who either were not on the Watch List, or were added late, tells me that our voters did investiage their choices.
