The new AD spoke at the Enterprise Rotary Club this week and I was impressed. He is not the "rah rah" speaker JW was, but he gave a good presentation non-the-less. His one on one skills are very good, as he took time to speak with several of us after the meeting. He bragged on D-Ware, but more for his graduting than his performance. He talked about several sports, and even sold a couple of $1,000 25 seat corporate packages. Also mentioned his goals for expansion of the stadium and the fact they had added two more luxury boxes. (?) I think we are headed in the right direction.

It would be great to see MGVS with about 55K capacity!
Yes, I know its a football forum, but did he say anything about a new basketball arena? I think we're a little past due on that one.
GO TROJANS!

He made mention of some of the BBall teams such as Arkansas LR (I believe) that had just built a $20MM dollar BBall facility. I think we will probably be looking at BB before a major FB expansion.

Here's what I would like to know. Of course our future schedules show that we have games against FSU, Ga. Tech, Florida, Georgia, as well as some other well known teams. If I remember right these are games that Johnny Williams got for us when he was here. What is Steve Dennis doing to make sure we will still continue to schedule games against the big boys in the future? If you want to play with the big boys, you have to play the big boys. I'd hate to see Troy resulting to only playing mid-major schools after these games run out.

Since Dennis has been here Troy has added Nebraska to the 2006 schedule. Dont worry, be happy. :)
