Is there anyone that has access to the fight song as a ring tone? At one point the gotroytrojans.com store was going to have them available but I have not heard anything yet.

I would like to know the technical details of how to make the song into a type of file that can be played on a phone (I believe certain software can do it easily) and how to get the wireless companies to support it.
This could be a big seller for anyone willing to do the legwork.
Anyone?

If you have a nokia phone, you can go to nokia.com and download a free program called Nokia PC Suite. It will convert any song into a ringtone for your phone which you then transfer to your phone via cable or bluetooth.

Trouble is, how many people have Nokia phones anymore? None of the major cell services in Dothan offer Nokia phones. The majority are now LG and Motorola with a few odd Samsung and Kyocera models.

I still fail to understand how Alabama A&M (for gosh sake) has a ringtone available on Cingular and we don't. Slippery Rock. Colleges I have never heard of. But not Troy?
Please, Troy administration, get on the ball (after two years of talking about it here and elsewhere) and get it done!

Bob,
Don't you know that the Troy licensing agreement is more sacred than the Holy Grail? They will not let just anyone use it. In fact, if you are not Screentech then forget about it. Our Wal-Mart stores got a couple of ugly shirts in back in the early summer, but those are now gone and nothing new has come in to replace them.
Out of 119 D1A schools in America, our marketing department ranks dead last as far as merchandising is concerned. I will not let this issue die!

We talked about this extensively last season. I talked to Sohail about it at the bowl game hotel.
It's frustrating how slow the wheels move.
We need to put Whiner in charge of getting us a ringtone!

I have a Nokia phone with the PC Suite. It only converts existing MIDI files to ring tones. I have yet to find the fight song in MIDI format.

I have seen programs that will convert MP3s, WMAs, etc. to MIDI.
I found some on a Google serach. A few were free.
