LB #6

Surf Report:

Agreed 100%. No coach on there took over a DII program that had slipped since the 87 Nat. Championship and turned it into a 1-AA Power in 2 years and now a D1 power. All this with a school with 7-8,000 students in a small town. LB has never gotten the credit and respect he deserves.

I guess it is hard to be objective being a Troy grad but I honestly think LB should be number 1. Can't think of any other coach who has done as much with as little.

Nobody in D1 football has Ever done more with less than LB! Its not even debatable, facilities, student enrollment, money & replacing coaches every year speak for itself. That list is a joke.

I would have Bill Snyder on the list . Took the worst program in Division I and turned them into a top 10 team.

This goes to prove that these Jock Journalists and other Media Jocks really know--NOTHING-- reallly about Football in College and specifically at our beloved TROY!! Larry Blakeney will go down as the greatest Coach in Troy History and the Kevin SCARBONSKI'S of the world will only pat him on the head every now and then and say good little boy. A TRAVESTY!!
