Stats are for chumps. Troy will beat UAB like the city, commuter school that they are.

Troy - 30

Where did you get this from?

Please tell me it didn't come from the Hueytown Times.

I am with Sarahbelle, where did this information come from? "2005" Offensive Unit rankings? How in the world can CFN "predict" what the rankings are going to be without anyone having played yet. I have looked all over the CFN site and did not see anything that resembled the CFN 2005 Offensive Unit Rankings, so take that somewhere else.

Go Trojans - I can not wait until 9/10/2005

UABdork lets take a look at this...

Didnt we beat you guys the last time?
What was the score?
Wasnt our offense pathetic? and we still beat you?
Your defense is going to murder us? really?
Didnt we still beat you though? with our crap offense?

Here is the link for the reading impaired. IT'S ON THE FREAKIN' FRONT PAGE!

http://collegefootballnews.com/

They base it off of last year's team, who left, who is returning, etc. It's the same thing as preseason polls, except they break down parts of the team.

you idiot, meaning "before viewing." Of course we are ranked 117, that is where we ended up last year, as you, yourself has noted, we lost our O line, QB, RB, TE, and we probably should be 117. But to come out and say that this is CFN's OFFENSIVE UNIT RANKINGS is a bit misleading, don't you think. They also "project" that the Big 10 (with 11 teams) will have the best offensive conference. Give me a break!

for the love of God, CFN gave it the name of "2005 Offensive Unit Rankings", not me.

Okay, I guess we should do away with preseason polls because they are just predicting and are pointless. We should then do away with all rankings because who is to say that a team can be #1 if they never played #3?

The only reason why you don't like them is because you are just about dead last in every category.

good call.
Our offense was offensive last season, and somehow we stuck it to UAB.

It is slightly off the subject of Troy and UAB, but they ranked North Texas #68. Now if they were going strictly off of who teams still have vs. who they lost, wouldn't having the nation's two past leading rushers on the same field enough to grant a higher ranking than #68? Seems a little bit off as usual to me.

GO TROY!!

What is the deal with everyone looking at CFN this year? That is one of the worst sports sites on the web in my opinion. There are only a million others with better information. Seriously, everyone has been using CFN for a reference all year like that is the only college football site on the web.

**Our defense is going to murder you**

That will be your only hope, because when your offense isn't going 3 and out they'll be turning over.

and I do mean *hope*

GO TROJANS!

I agree with you here. BTW, I saw where Ware was impressing everyone in Dallas, according to the Ft. Worth Startlegram...

All Pre-Season Predictions can only be based upon 3 factors:

Last Season Results + Returning Class + Recruiting Class = Prediction
