I am a little surprised at some of the choices. They don't have Demarcus as an option for All Time Defense, they don't list Osi or Lawrenece Tines at all. For punter they only list one player ignoring Thomas Olmstead.

That list is a joke just like the sun belt. It is loaded with guys from crappy programs. Where are people like Elbert Mack-led the nation in interceptions. We have some serious studs and instead I am being forced to vote for some guys that couldnt even tote the water for some of the talent we have had.

I agree with all of the post above! It is DEFINITELY a ploy to get representation from numerous programs within the conference listed on the final results!!! Despite this attempt by the conference we will end up being left out IF our fans do not suck it up and vote. A couple of things to remember (to get your votes to count); you have to complete the entire ballot we cannot just vote on our five Trojans and hit submit AND you can rank the players so make sure on every ballot you place Troy in the top position! Be sure to follow the directions completely. It is not a very fan friendly ballot. When you think you have submitted you vote, read carefully because if I remember you still have to submit (at the bottom of the page) on an additional page or two.

Think about it, we could field an entire decade team on our own! IT IS GREAT TO BE A TROJAN!!! Mike - maybe we should have a GoTroyTrojans.com Decade Team :-)

FYI for the play and moment of the decade, definitely JUNIOR all the way (again)!!!! Followed up by The Miracle!!

That's a really cool idea! Is 2011 season our 10th as DI? Or is this season?

I REALLY like this idea. Remind me which one is our 10th season and I'll start getting some plans together for something in the near future.

Keep in mind this is for the Sun Belt. When Osi and Tines played Troy "State" wasn't part of the Sunbelt and was only part of the 'Belt for Ware's last year. We could only count our players from 04' on.

From the football media guide;

"September 1, 2001 Troy opens its 1-A transition season at third-ranked Nebraska before 77,812 fans, the largest crowd to ever witness a Troy sporting event."

"June 1, 2002 Troy officials submit the school's final application for 1-A membership to the NCAA."

"December 3, 2002 The NCAA sends a letter to Troy stating that the football program has been granted Division 1-A status."

"May 23, 2003 Troy accepts membership for its athletics programs in the Sun Belt Conference, capping a 10 year transition into Division 1...".

So we woudl count the 2003 season as the first year? That would make the 2012 season the 10th DI season.

That is how I interpreted it also.

How can Levi not be on the list of All Time Offensive Player? He only broker multiple conference and school records in 1 1/2 seasons.

No no no see you guys have it all wrong. To avoid having every Trojan player to have ever existed on the list and taking up all the spots, they have to pick and choose which ones can go on there to give the other SBC teams a chance. How do they pick you ask?

Eeenie Meenie Miney Mo of course.

Our official start as full D-1. Only game not included in 2002 was our second game with Nebraska which was played August 30 or 31.

FYI - It appears that you CAN vote multiple times. I used a different e-mail. Nobody else in the conference will vote for anything Troy so we really need to push this vote for our guys.
