Thomas Olmstead is listed as the 9th best punter in the nation. Not bad considering there are 119.

Thomas Olmsted, Sr., Troy
Olmsted averaged 43.1 yards per kick putting a whopping 30 inside the 20. He has a booming leg and is a major weapon bailing out the average offense.

average offense.[
LOL
Ahhh I would really hate to have seen a below average offense in action last year.

Leodis McKelvin is #24 on CFN top 25 PR/KR list.

How Johnny Faulk was left off the top 25 CB list is a mystery - after all he led the way for the team that was ranked #1 in the nation in pass interceptions and #4 (I think) in pass defense.
Lots of sports writers hate to say anything positive about relative new comers to D-1 football, especially when they are thought of as "small schools", but if you can do it - it ain't braging - and it ought to get reconition.

Johnny Faulk was left out for the same reason Demarcus Ware was. We all see what that garbage meant to the NFL!

Bottom line is that those guys have to sell subscriptions. Therefore a lot of above average players from the name brand schools have to be high on the lists to keep the paying customers' egos happy.

he's actually so good that he's listed twice. in seriousness, a good punter can do lots to help a team with a crappy offense (such as tsu's).

I agree.

It's Troy, not Troy State or anything else.

I doesn't get under our skin. But it is another piece of evidence proving your ignorance.

be up for some awards at seasons end if he has a good year. I expect him to have a great season. Whibbs should have another great year as well after a great season last year. (Call him clutch!) Leodis needs to get the ball as much as possible. I wouldn't mind seeing him at receiver occassionally.
