Troy Bookstore

I was on campus last week and made a lunch time trip to the bookstore. All of the TSU items were 60% off. I have been waiting patiently for the new car tags to come in...the nice car tags...the mirror ones with TROY on it....

After speaking with the lady in the bookstore, she mentioned that Barnes and Nobles will be taking over the bookstore and building a new store above the fitness center.

Does anyone know more about this? Do you think B&N will have a better selection of merchandise? Do you think they will have better prices?

What would you like to know? That Barnes & Nobles will be the bookstore representative? Yes! Contract should be signed shortly. In addition to that, Sohail is in the process of striking a deal with Blackboard for support services to replace the old CBord system, which will mean some nice changes to the current Trojan Card services. More detail to follow, but I can only release so much at the moment.

I think it would be nice to have a Barnes and Noble on campus. But like you I wonder if they will still carry Trojan Gear. Surely so, otherwise where else will we get our gear from? Walmart? Please! We need a legit Trojan gear store!

Dude the walmart here in Troy has some nice looking Shirts for about 5 bucks each. So don't hate.

I will agree Walmart in Troy surprisingly has some good looking new Troy gear on sale. They have the new logos and everything. Also, there are still quite a few nostalgic items on sale at the bookstore. I picked up a pretty nice windbreaker at good price. If you want "old school" it's worth taking a look.
