I was in New Orleans this past weekend for a conference and coming back last night I was listening to a radio show on WWL 870 out of New Orleans about LSU. They talked about Troy as LSU's upcoming opponent and said that before Troy lost to Arkansas State, they (the radio hosts) considered Troy to be another "Oregon State" for LSU and that if LSU didn't play well, that Troy could win the game. However, they said that this game should now be an easy win for LSU on Saturday night since Troy tanked it in Jonesboro.

It's amazing how this team plays with seemingly no confidence on offense but our defense puts it on the line week in and week out. We'll be lucky to finish 6-5. Nonetheless, I'll be in Red Stick this weekend for the massacre (maybe our defense can keep it close for a while).

You were either listening to a dinosaur named Buddy DeLiberto or a clown named Korre Johnson and didn't have anything else to talk about because Tulane is on death watch after being thumped by Memphis Sate and the Vikings were coming to town to pistol whip the Saints.

They may say that Troy can be taken lightly, but I don't think you will see the coaches and players take you lightly. While we expect a win, every game is important to LSU until the close of the season.

We haven't forgotten the UAB's and teh OSU's of this OOC opponent thing.

Enjoy your trip to BR. That's all.
