It seems like I remember SarahBelle telling me one time that she was up my way for the big music festival. Are any other Troy fans/students making their way to Manchester, TN for the Bonnaroo Music Festival this weekend? If so, let me know. I'd like to meet ya' and maybe buy ya' a meal!

I'm not going this year. Last year was plenty for me. I enjoyed the music, but it wasn't worth the heat and primitive living conditions.

This weekend I'm headed to Atlanta for "Music Midtown" to see Def Leppard, Tom Petty, and Kid Rock.

Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews Band, Trey Anastasio, The Black Crowes, Alison Kraus & Union Station, Jurassic 5, and countless other bands.
You can view the list at the link provided and click on "Bonnaroo 2005 Artists." There are sublinks that will tell you who mainstage performers are as well as those performing at cafe stages and comedy stages.
People from all over come to this thing. It's like the Woodstock of the new generation.

That sounds like a great lineup. I've seen the Black Crowes before and they were pretty good. I'd really like to see Dave Matthews (and Alison Kraus). I've never really understood the fascination with Widespread Panic but I guess for the sake of doing so, I should try to check out one of their concerts.

Keep an eye on Dave Matthews tour bus. I would hate for them to decide to dump their sewage all over the place like they did in Chicago. Funny considering they call themselves environmentalists.

And I'll be headed to Atlanta July 31 to see Eminem and 50 Cent along with at least three other rap acts. This will be my first rap concert after going to approximately 15 country shows plus the Grand Ole Opry four times.
