hey guys how big is the band this year...i was passing by thursday night and it looked pretty skimpy out there..

last number i heard was 349. that was right before camp started. i'm sure someone from the band can elaborate a little better.

yep, big band. Can anyone tell me why people decide to drive by the band field and scream/yell like idiots? I don't get the fun in it....

Jazz from what I hear. Sing, Sing, Sing and Jump In Line. That's all I know about so far.

Unless I'm mistaken, didn't SOTS play these songs just about two or three years ago? Why the repeat?

We played a variation of Sing, Sing, Sing that was called Sing, Sang, Sung written by David Samuels, who was the GA at the time. This year we're playing Strike Up the Band/ Sing Sing Sing for the Openor, Peanut Vendor/ Jump in the Line for the production, and a Blues chart for the Closer. It's more of a "Resort Music or Island Music" show, or so that's the way I was introduced to it.
