Ready for the game next weekend. After having a bye week this week, I know us Tiger fans are hungry for some action next Saturday. What is the lowdown on your team? Strengths/Weaknesses? Really looking forward to next weekend. From what I hear ya'll are supposed to have a pretty good team this year.

If you look for good football, go to Southern game instead. No that too kind. Go see Country Day play Newman - that much better game.
Game Saturday will be blow-out. 50-0 by halftime.
Weaknesses? For start: 9 points versus #114 defense. Defense can no play more with crappy offense. ArkState have 150 total yards offense.

I'd have to agree with Mr. Ho's fortune cookie.
You've caught us at a bad time. Bad loss for us tonight.
Our fans are fed up with our offense. It has been stale for 3-4 years. Our defense is awesome. They play their butts off only to see our offensive playing and playcalling lose the games we should win.

we are all pissed right now, but the honest assesment is that we have no idea how well our team will play next saturday in death valley. They travelled to Marshall and beat a good team, hosted Missouri and beat them, travelled to South Carolina and held their own but the referees interfered with the game (on both sides of the ball) and killed any chance for momentum. Refs hurt USC in first half and killed Troy in second half, ugly game, but nobody knows what the outcome would have been if the players were allowed to play. Against a weak Utah State we scored 49 points and dominated like we should have, but twice we have lost on the road to teams in the bottom 10 of D-1. You saw ASU at Tiger Stadium, so you know what they are like. Inconsistency is the rule for TROY this year. There is a noticable inverse relationship between our success and the quality of our opponents.
Look forward to joining you and 100,000 of your closest friends saturday night for some football. Get your fill of jambalaya and bourbon, and we'll try to supply the heartburn.......

LSU fans don't know much about ASU. There were 8 guys out there on defense playing in their second college game EVER and our QB was only starting his second game.
We fumbled the kickoff after their first score and went down 13-0 before our offense ever took a snap.

Dear LSU..we have no chance in hell to win this game. Sure we beat Marshall sure we beat #18 Missouri..sure we were better than those two teams on just that day. But we arent good period. Troy has lost to two of the ESPN's bottom 10 teams. The Carolina game should have been ours but you know how the SEC goes. Please beat our team by at least 70 at half time. Then just walk off the field and let our defense play the offense (I bet you we will not score). So come back in the 4th quarter and hang another 70 on us. Then after the game attend our post game conference where we can hear Blakeney take up for our sorry offense..take up for his home boyz from Aublow (who are overated as it is) #4 my @ss ppppfffftttt!!! "But...our offense is improved from last year we went from bein #102 to #109..but I promise we are better" "I dont want Betterson in because I am afraid he will change the game" "I want all the spot light on the punter..no really" Please LSU just beat us bad..we need a great wake up call. Even if by some slim chance we beat LSU ( its not gonna happen)....we dont deserve to win NON-Conference games..or morale games...enough said..when does basketball season start?

Another extrememly heartbreaking loss. Do the guys even realize we are in a conference this year? It's b@lls to the wall on the games that don't really count and then...CHOKE! And...didn't we start the year with like 8 QB's? Why not use one of the now? Even if DT is getting a redshirt, there are others behind him in line. They HAVE to be better than Leak!
Look on the good side...basketball practice started today!

DT has already played this year. No redshirt for him.

Two points.
First... it's darn near impossible to win on the road. That's just a fact of life. Think about it... Arkansas State gets the stuffing beat out of them and has so-called league favorite Troy coming to their house. Those kids were sky high. I'm sure LB and his staff warned the kids for 2 weeks about this game, with LSU looming in everyone's minds. You could see this one coming. And, again, it's tough winning on the road without these other outside influences.
Second... the people who complain about particiluar players all the time--and you know who you are-- need to realize that these are young men who are busting it for Troy University. One player does not deserve all the blame, just like they don't deserve all the credit for wins. Lighten up on blaming Troy athletes. They put enough pressure on themselves, trust me.

I have not put any blame on a player YET. However a couple of years ago I happen to run into Lebarron Black who worked at Movie Gallery. He blames the coaching staff..and you know what? I believe him sir..I am tired of this seniority bullcrap...win the game for morale crap you know? I, like everyone else am tired of seeing a pathetic offense...and it hasnt been this year or last year..but its been the last 4 to 5 years of crappy offense.
