Did you guys get the info on the Troy pregame tailgating at the basesball field from 5-6:30. I guess we all need to show and get S@#* faced so we dont care what the final is.

back at the athletic dept that is. If you ordered LSU tics through Troy, you should have an invite for a pregame tailgate party sponsered by the University.
It says you need the invitation for admission.

Well, I can't make it to Red Stick, and I dont have tickets to that game, but I do have tickets to the Idaho game...can we all get together for that game and get $hit faced? I have reserved tickets and should be able to bring a bottle of something and put it in the locker.

Got mine today just because I happened to call about another issue and they asked if I had received one.
It is going to be at "The Village" in the outfield of Alex Box Stadium from 5pm to 6:30. Says something about cajun food, BYOB of course.

I was told the alumni association was setting up a tent for 2:30. Have the plans changed?

Just a hint. If you are going to start your tailgate party at 5:30, you will be way late, unless it's 5:30 AM. If you really want to do some serious South Louisiana tailgating, I suggest starting about noon.

I have the right concoction for the game this week. Bring Daphne High School's offensive coordinator with you.

That might not be too hard to do. One of our alumni who is coming on the bus with us is a coach at Daphne. :)

As a TROY alum working on my PhD at LSU, I totally concur with Gray Tiger. These guys start tailgating the night before. The parking lots fill up and there are tents set up for a mile down Nicholson Drive the day before the game when I leave campus to go home at 4:00 (they tow student vehicles at 5pm if they are still in student parking lots around stadium).
Trojans, come early, eat a tailgating breakfast (it is legal, and expected, for that to include alcohol in Louisianna). Food here is SERIOUS, they empty out the freezer of seafood or wild game from last season of hunting and grill, boil it, fry it, etc.
It's gonna be a blast, hope to see y'all there.
