What has our board turned into? A normal college sports message board were people yell at each other for doing crazy things or disagreeing with each other?

Thats how all message boards are done, but as I have said a billion times, if there are problems you think that need to be addresses with the board then send me a PM - i cannot police this thing 24/7. Its impossible.

There's nothing wrong with the board Jeff. I guess some of the posters have never posted on message boards before and have expectations that can't be met. I would say this is one of the calmer sports boards you will find on the entire net. I like message boards and I'm not against posting on a new one, but it will not "replace" this board. That would make no sense at all. I currently post on more than a dozen different boards on various subject matter. There is always room for more boards as long as they get regular use and contain useful information. As far as Troy is concerned, this will be my home message board as long as it exists and continues to get used as much as it does.

It might be interesting and useful to know who the board moderator is, and the reason(s) for starting that board, when there is one here already. certainly, no one can say that we have the posting traffic (yet, anyway) to justify a second board. One must therefore assume that at least someone has issues with how this board has been run. What issues? What will be the new posting philosophy/policies of the new board?

I think it's obvious that formerlytsufan is the guy that started the board. His name on the new board is troyw. He uses the same signature line that he uses on this board. I have no problem with another Troy board as long as it was not created to compete with this board because someone got their feelings hurt.

My question to you is, what is your beef with this site? Explain exactly what you mean when you say, "what this board has become." If it's all just in good spirits towards Troy University, then I'm certainly game to participate on your board from time to time. From one of your posts in this thread, I just think the board might have been started because you are upset about something over here. Please go ahead and air out your dirty laundry so that we can get this matter behind us.

Who's attacking him? Can we ask questions or will that upset someone? Even if he did not start the site, he would be able to answer the questions asked as he is obviously in with whoever did start the board and he did make comments regarding the state of this board.

There is no rival board, lets all dismiss that notion. The board is good for Troy U. If more and more people are talking about Troy, then that is that is good, if its at this board, or that board, or another board, it does not matter.

If people are talking about Trojan Sports I am all for it. That is the whole idea of message boards, to generate Buzz and give people a place to talk about Troy stuff. So there is no rivalry, never has been and never will be.

Note to all, I didn't create the board but I will do all I can to make sure it succeeds. Don't forget that I was one of the originial founders of the first Troy fan site on the net....without me and a few others this board would cease to exist!

I have no idea what you're talking about formerlytsufan. The only thing I can think of is when you took offense to my comment about Scott's picture. Even then you didn't mention it in the topic but pouted about it in a completely unrelated thread. I told you that it was an observation and not an insult and faithintsu agreed with me. It was not a mean spirited post, simply my thoughts. Are you saying since I'm moderator that I'm not entitled to an opinion?

I disagree with you on a lot of things, Sarah. But that is ok because everyone can't agree on everything. I have nothing personal against you, I just don't agree with how you act on this board. That is yet another reason why I am involved with the other board....
