The following discounts will apply to the purchase of all vehicle registration decals:
1. Faculty, staff, and students with an authorized Troy University car tag will receive a decal at no cost.



That came from an e-mail from Jim Bookout that included all of the prices for various things on and off campus next year. Thought that was pretty interesting.

Not a bad deal short term to get people to buy (I assume by authorized they mean official AL license plate)since the upcharge on those over a normal AL tag is $50 or $75. I cannot remember the exact cost. If I am not mistaken, that money goes to the Foundation account rather than directly into the University budget so JH has more flexibility on how to spend it. I hope the Foundation intends to put $15 per tag back into the University budget to support parking improvements.
