Why does someone like jingle balls get banned from the forum for making fun of someone. Hec people like TroyMarkus do such as that all the time but you ban jingle balls. There was no profanity involved and if you read his last post you would know that he was kidding. Lighten up MODERATOR. You should be happy people even post on this forum. Its people like me and jingle balls that make you feel important.

I'm going to step up to the plate and defend Jeff on this one. It is a priviledge for you to post here. Jeff can cut you off at any time. You might not like his reasoning, but I think he does a great job of keeping this site up for us. You might not be aware, but this site is one of the most active message boards in all of D1A athletics. So really, YOU should be happy that you can post on this forum.

I'll second that TrojanWar - Jeff has my support - this is first class board.
Jeff: Hope you don't use what I said when comes time to contribute to op funds.

I was not aware that people like you and jingleballs (or anyone else on this board for that matter) made the moderator(s) feel important. That must be such an awsome responsiblity. How do you handle the pressure?

Thanks for another personal attack and mention. I just found your post directed to me on the other forum. I find it quite humerous. I'd like to ask you two things. First, can you provide one example when I get mad at someone for disagreeing with me (your accusation from the other thread) or when I have made fun of another person? Please enlighten me.
Secondly, please, for the benefit of everyone, could you reveal who you are? Because, apparently, you or one of your friends are someone I've probably complained about at some point. I don't hide. My name is Mark Gainey. Who are you?
And one last comment as well. I promise you Jeff doesn't feel important because you or I or anyone else posts on this board.

It looks like you've been called out BCM. So, tell us who you are. Like Markus, I don't hide behind my very cool screenname. My name is Kyle Walker, I work at The Dothan Eagle, and I live in Headland. Anyone on here could contact me if they felt the need. While I don't know everyone on here personaly, I consider many on this board friends. It's no secret that Markus and I don't agree on every point, but I still consider him one of my Trojan brethren and I'll take up for him as well as most others on the board. In the end, there is more to goTroyTrojans.com than just the moderators.

The first post I ever made on this board was pulling your chain about asking someone to give you every detail of what goes on at spring practice. Your response was to say something along the lines of "You need to have made more posts on this board to criticize me." Another time I remember you responding to another one of my posts informing me that you let me slide last time but not this time. You then went on about something. If you don't believe me check the old posts. I am glad you saw my thread asking you why you get so mad when someone disagrees with you. I want to know. The moderator pulled it as soon as I posted it. Why do you want to know what my name is? What are you going to do when you find out? The moderators know who I am. If they are going to ban jingleballs go ahead and ban me too. Good for you guys who make this board one of the most active on the web. The active members of this board do nothing but whine about our athletic department anyways. You guys love to act all high and mighty because you get your information from someone you know inside the athletic department. If I really wanted to, I could get a lot of information from one of the GA's in the equipment room, or in the ticket office, or in the video room. I could do so and sound real big and bad like the rest. So what. I don't.
I am sure that you will attack me for not posting my name, so what. You can call me chicken, wimp whatever I don't care. I am not going to let you lead me around. I am smart enough to realize that this is your world. I don't live my life around computers like it seems you do. I will however let you know when I make it to a Troy game this year. You can meet me then. I might even buy you a moon pie and a rc cola.

First, let me say this. I could care less if you or anyone else posted on this board - and my personal satisfcation does not come from people who post on this board.
Second, if you have a problem with the way I moderate this board, send me a Private Message, and tell me why. There is no reason to make a post like this, unless you just care to do so - which you have. If you feel your "Friend" should not have been banned, then have him e-mail me. I will explain why I did it, and he can plead his case. I run this board the way I want to - if you don't like it, tough cookies, no one is making you post here.

Jeff, I for one agree with his being banned. Banning is not such a bad thing. It is not holy grail.

I just wish Jeff would have banned some of those UCF "Jerks" (still burning).
:)
I tend to believe posters whose names I know and those who are not afraid to identify themselves in their messages. I hate it when people blast away personally, while hiding their identities.
Also, new posters who come on here and make outrageous claims or start blasting away are not taken seriously. It's right that posters have to sort of earn some respect and seniority with time and the quality of their posts. That's just right, somehow.
