Friends,

As most of you remember, last year we had a large turnout and a great time watching Troy put a beating on the University of South Alabama baseball team. I expect this year to be no different.

The game begins at 6:00pm at Stanky Field in Mobile on Tuesday, April 5, 2005. We will have hot dogs and beverages for the family. Bring your friends and any prospective Troy students. We would love to meet them. We have a scholarship to award, and this may be a good time to see some of our applicants in person. (Call me if you have any questions about the scholarship but cannot make it to the game. 604-1599).

A mailing will go out this afternoon with a flyer. Look for it in your mail box this weekend and feel free to invite all of your friends not on this email list serve.

Hope to see you there, and GO TROJANS.

John P. Browning

If any of you are Mobile area alum or will just be in the area, I encourage you to come to this game. Our alumni group had a great turn-out last year and probably out numbered the USA fans. We got a win out of it last year and expect the same this year! :)

Thanks for the invitation Sarah. Hopefully we can beat the Jags again in Mobile.

By the way, great win for the Trojans last night over BSC at Riddle-Pace.

Yeah, that was a great win over BSC. Godwin broke the season steals record...in March! There is a great article in today's Dothan Eagle about the game.

He broke the career record as well, and this is only his second season here, correct?

Yes, career record as well. I think he tied the conference record, so that record will without a doubt be the next to fall.

If he tied it, he'll break it Friday night if he gets on base.

You better watch it...the Baldwin Countians claim their own as the land of milk and honey.

Hope you can make it, tsufl.

Sorry Sarah. I had to chime in on the record. We don't get a lot of baseball talk around here. I LOVE baseball. I've been watching the Braves grapefruit games like they are the playoffs!

Not this year, not next year, not any year. The Cubs will figure out how to choke, and I don't expect them to be all that great after the moves in the off-season. Pitching should still be ok though.

The Braves on the other hand have some of the best pitching ever! I'm not sure how the offense will be, but the pitching is strong. I think some guys will come out of their shell and dominate the East.

the Cubs got rid of Sosa, thats the bestthing they could ahve done!!!
And if they can get healthy and stay healthy THE CUBS have the best pitching in baseball, PERIOD!!!

Go Trojans...(trying to get this back on topic before the board nazis lock it )
