Still kind of depressing. Team really came through, but road tough ahead. IF team make final need big crowd there.

It should be full house if only hold 4k. But Mr. Ho forget there is Busch race on Saturday, loser can't miss that Busch race.

While the crowd could have been bigger, it was pretty good. The softball team made a stop on their way to Tallahassee and they made their presence known! They sat behind the pep band and never stopped cheering.

Laura Lee Holman ended up at the game. I was shocked, but I admire her strength. She played a good game, considering. Her shot was off a little, but I'm betting that basketball has been the last thing on her mind these last few days.

If you are within an hour of Dothan and you don't have a prior commitment to church, children or a job, then you need to be at the Dothan Civic Center tomorrow night at 8:15. Dates do not count as an excuse. BE THERE, or don't call yourself a fan.

Great game girls! This team deserves our support and everyone needs to come out and make some noise. The Pep Band and Cheerleaders were awesome! I certainly hope the softball team can be there again because they make some great noise!!!

The Girls were AWESOME last night. They have really came together this year as a team and played the game with a lot of heart.

For those of you who might not know. The entire team went to Columbus, MS. for Laura Lee's moms visitation on Wed. night as opposed to practicing at their appointed time in Dothan at the Civic Center. Laura Lee then flew into Dothan yesterday so that she could play in the game.

Laura Lee's dedication to her team at this time of loss in her life is greatly admired by me personally.

I am afraid I may not be there tonight, but will defintely be back down on Sat. when we play the Championship game.

Go Lady Trojans!!!!

Sorry, but I just can't get into women's athletics. There is just too much to keep up with following just the men. I wish I had the time to do it, but with work, my business, and everything else it is just too much. I am proud of our girls for the win and I do hope they win the tournament.

Now, they just better make sure the Civic Center is cleaned up and everything is in place for the WWE Sunday night! I'll be on the front row for that one.

TrojanWar, if you're gonna get on here and talk about WWE, then just ignore this topic, like I'm about to do to you.

Now, back to the topic at hand.

I didn't know about all of that troylightning. That impresses me, and makes me admire her more. '

The softball team won't be there again tonight. I asked one of them and she said that they stopped by on their way to Tallahassee. I think that they did the same thing last year, too.

Well, I'm out to work. I'll see ya'll in Dothan!

I'm disappointed. You have time to devote to WWE, but not the Lady Trojans??? Shame on you. Troy has more sports than just football. We have a great team in the Lady Trojans and they have a great shot at making the Big Dance. If they make it and play nearby...I'm there--just like I'd be for the men!

We live in the south, therefore, the only sport that matters is football (unless you're in North Carolina, then its Basketball). Sad to say, but its true. We can get 30000 to see a football game against some sad division 1-aa school, but if you look at the stands for a basketball game that actually has some implications, there is at the most 2000. Its a shame.

That's not entirely correct....

U of Florida sells their basketball games out...so does UA, and Auburn has nice crowds...MSU sells out, umm...pretty sure UK does too...

Sure, football has priority...but saying that noone likes basketball because of geography...that's false. I'll be there Saturday if we win tonight...I have prior plans for tonight....hope we win!

I'm upset with everyone of you for the way you took my comments. I said I hoped the girls won the tourny. I follow more than just football. I'm a fan of football, basketball, baseball, track, and just about anything else. Hey, it may be a tough pill to swallow, but some people just don't get into women's athletics. I'm sorry if you don't like that.

Now Fred, I did not make my point to talk about the WWE and I think that was obvious. Read back if you must. I do like the WWE and it only comes to Dothan once a year. That's the only time I go see it.

So, what's wrong with that? Some of you really amaze me sometimes. Especially you Markus. You're the most judgmental pastor I've ever known of. I would expect more.

troymarkus

I'm not judging you. I can't stand most women sports--just not my cup of tea. WNBA??? Joke. But, this is about more than female sports. This is about Troy University. I'm not saying you should get season tickets and go to every game. The A-Sun Tourney for the Lady Trojans is in Dothan once a year!!! What I am saying is it would be nice for the alumni in that area to support them.

Easy on the personal attacks War. I don't know you. You don't know me. I'm actually the least judgemental pastor you'll meet. But I am the most rabid Troy fan you'll probably ever meet as well. So, yes--I expect more out of folks who have a username "TrojanWar." I just think that the women who play their hearts out for Troy (espcially Laura Lee) deserve our support. If I still lived in Headland...I'd be there. But, again, that is your choice!!

TrojanWar

I give them my support. I hope they win. I'm just not a fan of women's athletics, plain and simple. I'll watch if they are on TV, but I'm not going to plan an evening around it. Just because it's Troy does not mean I have to be a rabid fan of that sport or event. I mean, I like rodeo, but I'm sure some die-hards could care less to go watch the Troy rodeo team. There's nothing wrong with that. So you might not like rodeo, big deal. I won't hold it against you. You can still be happy when the rodeo team excells.

I just think it's rediculous for everyone to jump all over me for not being a fan of women's athletics. That's childish.

troymarkus

I just stated my disappointment. I'm not jumping on you. You can do what you please--you are a grown man.

And what is childish is making a character statement about me when you don't know me. Maybe we can meet at T-Day if you'll be there and we can sort this out. D1 and I did that at the first home game last year.

Yes, we do need to meet. I want to meet everyone I can from this board. I'm sorry you are dissapointed in me. All of us can't devote 100% of our life to every single thing that happens where Troy University is involved. I put in a lot of time, but my schedule does not allow me to follow every aspect of Troy athletics. I wish it did.

Now, would you like me to change my username?

How many of you were at the Wiregrass Classic Baseball Tourny in Dothan? I can answer that. Not many. In fact, there were not many people there at all. I was there supporting my Trojans. I hate it when you guys decide to start a "who's the biggest fan" competition. I really get sick of that.

Amen TrojanWar.

How many of you drove across the country to watch a bowl game??

I am not starting a biggest/bigger fan thing. I'm talking about being a fan period--not how big of a fan people are. It is my belief that everyone who posts on this board is a big Troy fan. The Trojan nation is growing more each day. I just wish we would all support Troy more than just football/men's basketball. That's all.

Look forward to meeting you.

D1, TUEngineer, Fred, and the rest--I will see you all tomorrow. Come see me.
