Over the past fifty years, thats right 50, guess how many seasons under .500 the Red Wave & Trojans Baseball teams have been?
Hint--
You can count them on two hands and still have fingers left over!
The answer should be pretty impressive to anyone.
Bonus--
Whats wrong with the description of the 1930 team picture in the media guide?
The winner gets one free sunburn at Schooners in PCB!

First answer is 8. And 6 of them happened way back in the day!
I don't know what's wrong with the description other than I had never heard of Kilby hall!!! But after some research, found that it used to be a lab building where the admin building now sits.

Kilby Hall was the out-of-place looking Spanish style building (with courtyard) on the left side of the quad (looking at the palladium building). It housed the art and photography departments (I spent a lot of time in the dark room), and perhaps other classes.
Why was that building razed? Where is its replacement?

Troymarkus your close but no SPF #2!
1968,1970,1971,1972,2000,2001,2002 seasons under .500 (7) I was around during all of those years so I guess what does that make me????????
******* The Lab School or the proper name of Kilby Hall was demolished around the late eighties or early nineties and replaced with the new Admin building. :( The picture was taken in the courtyard inside of Kilby not in the front of Kilby Hall! 8)
No SPF #2 either!!!!
Actually I hated to see Kilby go. It was where I atended the 1st through 4th grade. My mother also attended elementary school there. It was known as the Lab School because student teachers used to get there practicle experience there.
So Troy is .860 in Baseball for fifty years! 8)

Ah, but you forgot about 1966!!! We were 1 game under .500 then too! So 8 is correct!!
I'll take you up on the consolation prize when I'm down there anyway!

Didn't the students pitch a fit about them getting rid of Kilby so the admin tore it down over a break when no students were on campus? That's what I heard anyway.

I wonder if they got 1966 backwards? 11-10 will give you a .524 but they got it 10-11! Oh well.
Yea I heard demolishion was done during a break. However, the buildings roof was in bad shape. I had a friend in the Art Dept. that had part of the roof to come down on him. It was a cool looking old building though. I understand it was just about the first building built after the campus was moved from the downtown area.

It was such an odd building for Alabama, with all its columns and bricks. That building would be more at home down here.
I wonder why its design was chosen in the first place.
