With last night's 500+ yd game, Troy has moved up to the 3rd ranked offfense in the country, behind Houston and Nevada. This is the highest ranked unit ever for Troy. In 2002, Troy ranked #4 on Defense, which had been the highest.

And Levi is still ranked #2 in total offense behind Case Keenum.

And just as a small side note. The current top 3 ranked defenses....Florida, TCU & Alabama, have average ypg amounts that are seperated by less than 1 yard per game difference.

UF - 233.08 ypg
TCU - 233.25 ypg
UA - 233.92 ypg

Now we need to focus on having the #3 offense and the #4 defense at the same time. There's no reason we can't do it and there's no reason we should start to expect anything less.

Might be first thing Mr. Ho agree with on board in long time...and Chairman of the Board.

The more you score the more chances the opposing offense has to score/gain yards. Kind of a catch 22 however TCU has pretty much done it this year at #5 on O and #2 on D. Just saying....

I think our defense has done okay under the circumstances. I mean our line was one of the best we've ever had, experience wise, but our secondary was incredibily young. Next year look for the opposite with a young line and a more experienced secondary.
