Friday and Sunday both UCF and FAU were the better teams on the court. We had our hot and cold streaks but both UCF and FAU played good consistent basketball. Personally I think FAU is the best team we've played against this year and I wouldn't be surprized to see them at the top of the conference when it's all over. Althought there was nothing wrong with our scoring, we didn't rebound. I don't think it's all because we are short either. I watch shots being taken and no one is even moving toward the basket. They are all turned and heading to the other end while the opposing team grabs the rebound. Defensively we aren't too bad but we don't get hardly any offensive rebounds. We're giving the other team 2 and 3 shots at the basket while we seem to be content with one.

The refs are another story. they're just plain bad. both teams suffer from the refs. They're too inconsistent. Call a foul for a trivial bump one time then let the player get knocked down the next time with no foul. I could give numerous examples of poor officiating.

All of those were my thoughts exactly! I noticed the same things with the rebounding the other night. The team likes to take a shot and take off back to defense rather than trying to get rebounds. Friday night thay had a bad tendency to not finish what they would start.

Edit: I finally hit 100 posts. It's about time.

At FAU ...

Senior Ryan Heck led the Trojans in rebounds with seven in a game that was dominated on the glass by the Owls. FAU outrebounded Troy, 47-25. The Trojans have now been outrebounded by an average of 47.6-22.3 over the last three games.
