Well Tronjan faithful, it was a tough loss Friday night. I decided to refrain from posting after the game. It was hard resisting, but I just didn't want to get into another one of those back and forth, tit for tat posting war. I have to say all the posts from the UCF fans were pretty interesting to see....more then I expected. And Bob, you have to not let them agitate you so much. They beat us fair and square and all we can hope for is that we will have a chance to meet again in the tourney and the winner there will go to the dance. Then all this trash talk on from both sides will be settled once and for all.

Now we have to hope that Don can take these two tough losses in as many games and use them as lessons to teach his/our team and make them better. We still have plenty of season left to adjust and improve. One thing for sure, only one team from the A-Sun will go to the dance. Winning the tourney is the only thing that matters. We have to make sure we stay focused and win the games that we need to so we can get a trip to the Belmont. Once there, the season that really maters is only 3 days long.

UCF fans, thanks for all you enthusiam and postings. Like it or not, I do believe we have a heated riverly here. You may say you're not interested in "Little Old Troy" as as I read in other postings, but if that was the case, I don't think we would see this much activity on both boards when our teams play. We see nothing like this from any other team we play in the A-Sun. I only hope some day we play each other in Football again. I think that is where we would really see sparks fly. And, I would guarantee that you would see tons of fans from both schools at the game no matter where it was played, FL or in Troy. Let's hope that happens in the near future.

Trojan Nation, I will see many of you in Belmont in a month.

Go TROY!

They really don't agitate me. I just can't let them get away, here, with the trash they spew. They can't even win with dignity and class. They rush right over and rub it in, and then claim the series is not important to them.

Filled with contradictions, those "jerks".

I will feel better about meeting UCF in the tourney, now that the pressure will not be so high and they will be so extra cocky.

C'mon man, don't you get it?

Posts like this make UCF fans want to come back even more should we draw and beat Troy next time.

And regarding how you implied that this message board stuff makes you "Feel better" about the next game we may play...I assure you that I am not Gary Johnson, nor am I Josh Peppers. I don't think this will affect the game at all. With that said, a small part of me had hoped to lose against you so we could carry that into Nashville. But with the conference race so close, we can't afford any loss if we want to even be in Nashville.

I meant that losing to UCF will probably put the team in a better place mentally to pull off a win when it counts - in the tourney. Troy always plays better as an underdog.
