laugh if u want it will not be a true college town without tap beer. that is why no one stays in town so they go to auburn or alabama. with tap beer i believe more big bars and even main stream restaurants will arrive in troy. making more jobs available so kids stay in town and also not be bored with just eating at the pines, britanny's or jades palace. TGIF and Applebees are 2 places i go grab a meal and meet with people to go out. The tailgating is also segregated. i think everyone should be in one big spot instead of greeks in one section alumni in another, and everyone else. argue all u want but this is the PROBLEM!

I think the tailgating areas flow nicely. It doesn't seem segregated to me.
And SEC schools don't serve alcohol either, if I remember correctly. So that's not a plausible excuse for students going to AU/UA games.

yeah they dont serve alchol at the game but they have places to go after the game not like troy think of all the places to go after the game at AU and UA games. there are a long list of places to go in those places. kids want to go to places with tons of parties and bars that is why kids do not stick around Troy.

laugh if u want, but when people think of college towns, they think of museums, theatres, and coffee shops, not tap beer! College towns are supposed to be based around the college, not the football team!

r u crazy ask any kid in college i bet 90% say they love the parties and not the coffee shops. i dont know where u guys went but where i went it was about a good time. i don't remeber the times i sat a the coffee kettle or waffle house drinking coffee and studyin but i do remeber the long trips to Dothan, AU, UA, Panama City. the times when we took those road trips to find the thirteen bridges or the house of crosses. the stupid things that make us the people we are today. the person i am today is because of school not just the classes but the good times.
