I was impressed three times today. The first was an unexpected opening of a chinese mall style buffet in the Trojan Center. I ate there for lunch and it was right on par with all the other mall chinese places I've eaten at. It's called Mein Bowl.
The second was in the Trojan Center as well. There was a T-Shirt Trade. Trade in your AU/UA/High School shirts in for a Troy shirt. I was impressed because there were at least 50 shirts in a huge pile that had been traded in. The shirts are the basic red Troy shirts.
The third was Dr. Hawkins new position as Sun Belt President. Read more about that in the other forum.
Those three are big steps, most importantly Dr Hawkins new position, in becoming a bit time university.
BONUS: Einstein Bagels opened up last week. Anytime something new opens up, like Mein Bowl, it's a recruiting tool. Good stuff TROY!
