To be honest the fact that TROY has an enrollment of 5,000 and has close to equal the attendence that UCF has with their enrollement of 45,000 in a MAJOR METROPOLITAN area speaks for its self. And this is in a down year of Troy basketball, there have been seasons where we led the league in attendance. Just last year comes to mind. If UCF is so damn great you should be packing that arena every game. As far as I can tell the only time anyone goes to a UCF game is while you are in 1st and Troy is in town.

I do however wish our "student section" was more than just those clowns from FarmHouse. We cant build unity withthe school if one "frat" gets deemed as the student section. Trojan Arean could easily become one of the the toughest places to play in the Sun Belt next year but not until we have a true student section. Like it has been said yelling, chanting and all that is fine, cussing is another story esp. the F-bomb. (and dont call anyone from stetson "tito")

Why are FarmHouse Brothers clowns if they are the only students in the student section supporting the team. Just curious?

this is going to be my only response to this.
The fact is that FH designated them selves the student section. IF you are not in FH (or dating someone in FH) you can forget about even getting close to the little section on the floor by the visitors bench. Just last season a group beat you guys to that section and you went and cried to the athletics admin to get them to move. Speaking of last season the President of SGA made the band area the student section. The president, who was also a member of FH, sat where he always sits with FH and made no attempt to get people to the new "student section." And to imply that FH is the only people supporting the team is absurd. I didnt miss a single home basketball game the entire time I was a student at Troy but I sat upstairs with the other peons who arent fortunate enough be in FH and be able to heckle from courtside. But your comment is typciall of the "were better than you" mentality a lot of the folks down there have.

I graduated 6 years ago and I was just curious. I have not been able to make it back to any basketball games since I graduated, so I had no idea what happens. The way you wrote it sounded like no other students where there. But damn buddy it not worth getting upset about. Maybe the admininstration should expand the student section if there are more students attending than there are seats. Just a simple question no reason to get all bent out of shape.
